Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where this son was born in the U.S. Navy Hospital. Circa Summer 1963 during my teen years at 16, my 30 year U.S. Navy veteran father sent myself and my next younger brother to Camp Pendleton, Ca Marine Corp Base for the 10 day Devil Pup program in which many young male teens experienced Marine style boot camp.
