I live in New Jersey. For a number of years now, I have been researching my Albert/Devine family tree from Philadelphia, PA. We never knew much about our family history except for a bunch of anecdotal stories my grandparents had told while growing up. When Ancestry.com was fairly new, I started researching and after going through about 2000 records of ships manifests, eventually found finding the ship the Alberts came over from Bremen in 1863 with infomation that matched my grandfather's stories. From then on, I was hooked, and do research every single day.

I am currently researching the Albert, Devine, Rupp/Roupp, Fousnought/Fausnaught, Stukey, Robinson, Ayers, Trautz, Callan, Barnhart, Switzer/Swisher, Merrick, Burdge, Davidson, Frost, Roberts, Taylor, Smith, and North families. There are some that I have not listed, I am sure. I have several trees on Ancestry, and welcome any collaboration people are willing to give.
