Bio

My name is Gladys Arlene Cloud-Knight and I am working on Ancestry.com. I have several Trees I am working on. Cloud, Knight, Massingill, Cunningham & Barrett.
All the families are huge and lots of data to research. I love it & it is a stress reliever for me, although frustrating at times. The children were all born at home and people didn't add JR and SR to their profiles.
I've always enjoyed searching for answers either in patient accounts, auditing etc. My supervisors all told me I missed my calling. I should have been a detective or auditor. I can't just take other Tree info when I know different.
For instance, my dad, Arlie always said his dad Eugene Cloud was born in Louisiana & even in his funeral info. ALL the Ancestry.com Trees said my grandpa was Eugene F. Cloud from Arkansas. I researched for hours to see the Census which listed Louisiana as Eugene (E.) Cloud's Census. I found he was born in Louisiana, Chilcot County, Arkansas, USA. I then found his grave marker through Find A Grave in the OLD CLOUD Family at the Letitia Cemetery East of Lawton, Comanche County, Oklahoma, USA. It list him as Eugene (E) Cloud with the Birth Date & Death Date I had researched. My paternal grandmother, Docia Ellen Riden-Cloud buried there also. She was 3/4 Chickasaw Indian & they had lived on the Chickasaw Indian Nation Reservation when their first child, Ida Mae Cloud-Barrett was born.
I am 78 years old now & hope to have ALL the Ancestry Records for my grandchildren & greats, if Jesus doesn't return soon! They won't have need for it if the Rapture takes place. Praise the Lord. Gladys Arlene Cloud-Knight
