I'm Ashley Marie Thrasher born April 1,1988• my Parents are Roy Leon Thrasher •1945-2004• & Marie Mills Thrasher •1952. My siblings are Billy Ray Thrasher •1967 & Angela Marie Thrasher Lashley •1971... Yelp you could say I definitely was the uh oh baby! Carrie Ruth & Henry Ben Thrasher were/are my MawMaw & PawPaw. I grew up closer to my Daddy's side of the family we always went to MawMaw's and there was always Aunts,Uncles,Cousins,family friends who are like family & more cousins lol.. They say your 1st bff is usually always your cousin. Well its true for me my 2nd cousin Kerri Michelle Swafford •1989 has been my best friend/sister/roommate since she came home from the hospital haha!
On my Momma's the Mills side of my family Granny Mills & all but 1 (Aunt Liz) of my Aunts & Uncle and most of their children & their children's children all lived in the same little one neighborhood on Hwy 52 in Helena. I was really close to Granny Mills from age 4 I would sneak out of the house at night and walk two houses down to stay the night with her. When i went missing momma always knew to call Granny. And from what ive been told from Momma and others the house we lived in was built by my PawPaw Lewis Mills which died before i was born.. Anyway They say when i was too young for me to remember i would go in the front bedroom to play and color. Well momma said one day she walked in and i was coloring and talking to someone. When she asked who i was talking to i told her PawPaw Mills (i had never met or seen a picture or anything) I told her what he looked like his full name the day he was born and when he died.. She said she would catch me all the time after that talking to him. Crazy but they say children are innocent and pure that they can see what we adults cannot.. We lived there til 2003 when my Daddy was diagnosed with lung cancer so we moved to our place in Brookwood/LakeView cause that's where my daddy wanted to be in the woods and out of the city and Helena which was okay by me I love living where we are now and Brookwood/Lakeview I wouldn't go back to Helena and all that City style life & horrible Morgan Road traffic to save my life.. I need and want my woods and not having my neighbors in spitting reach lol J/S. Well thats my somewhat story.. Ive got a family tree thing started on both ancestry.com and Familysearch.org so if we are related please feel free to add on to the family tree. I would love to know about all my families history, present, & future.
