I have been doing genealogy research since 1980 and it is my passion!

I was raised in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, and still reside there.

I am a fourth-generation Oregonian on my father's side.

My mother was born and raised in Alberta, Canada, and her family was from Scotland, England and Ireland before they came to Quebec, and then on to Alberta.

I love doing family research and am involved with it every day in one way or another.

I love 'cemetery stomping' -- my term for visiting and documenting cemetery markers and inscriptions. There is something very powerful about standing in the same places where my great-great-great grandparents once stood.
