Born in Lafayette, Louisiana. After father returned from army, settled in Judice Community property, have two older siblings. Left Louisiana in July 1980 for U.S. Navy service, saw San Diego CA, Ft. Sam Houston TX, Oakland Oak Knoll CA, Bremerton WA, Great Lakes IL, and Sub Base Groton CT trained as a hospital corpsman in Medical Laboratory. After military discharge, completed education in Baton Rouge, Lake Charles, and Houston TX. Currently live in Eva, Concordia Parish LA on homeplace of Hedges Plantation, employed in social work. Avid lover of all things historical. Adopt and restoring grave yards, digging up buried stones, cleaning off years of neglect, gifting local church with a map of burial markings to increase their knowledge.
