I became interested in genealogy in my early 20s. I've had lots of twists & turns, brick walls that I can't get past, and a few surprises within the last 25 years.

I've always felt so at peace in cemeteries, wondering about the people, how they lived and what their life was like. I love looking at the headstones!

These are the family lines I research currently:
Paternal Family - Sandifer from IL, Hedger from IL, Loomis from IL
Adopted Maternal Family - Berger from IL, Todhunter from IL & MD
Biological Maternal Side - Zidarich from IL; Marros from IL, SD and WY; Hardesty from SD, IA and OH; Mantzoros/Mantzeoros from SD
Biological Paternal Side - Hernandez from Brownsville TX area and I also traced 1 generation into Matamoros Mexico

I also research my sons' father's family: Boreman, McArdle, Gogue, and Thompson
