Bio

I was born in Pittsfield Ma in 1952. Went into the Air Force in 1970 was stationed at Wright Patterson AFB Ohio where I meet my wife. I retired after 20 years of service. Went to work for Standard Register in Dayton Ohio in 1990 and retired from there in 2013. My Dad is the one who got me started doing ancestry. He retired in the 80's and did the research the old fashion way, he went to grave yards, city clerks, libraries, etc. He was very through and when he died in 2008 I inherited all of his research. I was totally fascinated at what he had discovered and from then on I was hooked. After I did my linage tree I did my wife's and I was lucky enough that a lot of her relatives were alive so I got some interesting stories and was able to ask questions about the information I found in public records. Some was correct and some were wrong.
