Thank you to all those who came before me, in life, and in the cemeteries that I've been researching. Thank you for approving hundreds of my suggested edits (sorry to be a pain!) and for keeping me straight when needed.

I've been working on adding memorials for those buried in Merrill Memorial Park/Cemetery up to 2004. (That's where the transcribed records end, and updating those will be a separate project.) Thank you to those who have added the 11,000+ memorials in this cemetery (and others) before I arrived on the scene.

My focus also includes veterans, especially those who enlisted from Lincoln County, Wisconsin or have lived there or are buried there. See my virtual cemeteries for more information.

I have great respect for the gravestones of others and would never want to cause harm, therefore, in following Find a Grave guidelines, I do not clean gravestones of those not in my family. I have seen stones damaged by well-meaning people, and I would not like non-relatives cleaning my family's stones.

I was so inspired by the discovery of the Find a Grave memorial for my 4x gr grandfather in New York that I joined Find a Grave in order to help others in their research.

Warmest regards,
Polly
