I started researching in the late 1990's after my grandmother told me my Great Aunt was a member of DAR and what that meant. One of my revolutionary war ancestors was buried in the old broken down church cemetery AKA Wilson Cemetery. After walking in the woods for two days I finally located the military tombstone that was placed in the cemetery in 1941. It was in a deadfall of trees. I was hooked!
I enjoy hunting in the cemeteries with my mother.
