I grew up in Saskatchewan, moved to BC when I married, then we moved to Alberta in 1977. I have always been interested in the family history and enjoyed hearing mom and dad talk about their brothers & sisters & parents. As a teenager I started writing down all my aunts & uncles names and who their children were. As I have approximately 80 first cousins this was necessary! As time went by I added birth dates, marriages, and the next generations. I had become the keeper of the "Family Tree" for both sides. It's a lot of work, but I enjoy it and it keeps me in contact with a lot of cousins and their children that I wouldn't otherwise know. I hope that my contributions to Find A Grave will help others find their missing relatives.
