Born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Orange County has been my home since relocating at 14. It wasn't long before exploring the piedmont that I became fascinated with the area's rich history.
I later served Orange County as 1st Lieutenant and EMT with Orange County Rescue Squad. Eventually I would become county's first paid EMT. Later, I would move into Emergency Communications where I remained until an injury ended my career, but not before becoming senior officer. Currently, I live at the eastern end of the county with my wife and son.
These days, as I still recover, I mainly focus on family genealogy, while also researching local history as an amateur historian and rouge independent Native American archeologist. Primary focus is the history of Orange County, Virginia, focusing specifically on pre-Columbian, colonial and the Civil War
