I never knew much about my family. Unfortunately I didn't have much interest as a kid when I had direct contact with great grandparents and such. I'm sure I could have gotten hours of stories. A few years ago I was going through the records I had and decided to "Google" one of my great grandfathers names. To my suprise he came up with links to other family. I was hooked, and have been digging into research whenever time permits. I find it extremely interesting to learn about the past generations of family.
