Bio

I am a paralegal in Columbus, Ohio, so research comes naturally to me.

As a teenager, I remember going to cemeteries with my mother to look for graves of ancestors with paper and crayon to make tracings, and I have carried on her search for our roots and extended families.

I have taken photos at a cemetery near my home to help with plot location of other requests, and when I'm bored, I just start snapping photos. I post them on Find-a-Grave if they are not already listed. I am more than happy to transfer those memorials to you if you are a relative of that person. I don't have a goal to have the most memorials managed. I just want people to be remembered and honored, so this is why I create memorials for people I never knew. I know that it is easier for me, being local in Columbus, to take those pictures than for someone to drive or fly hours to do so.

I mostly take photos at Union Cemetery, but I am happy to venture out if you have specific plot information. Some of the cemeteries in central Ohio have interment and plot information listed on this site: https://centralohiogravesearch.com. Having plot information in your request is really helpful especially if it's not included on this website. Union Cemetery has not fully indexed everyone though, so even if someone is not listed, they still could be buried there.

Many thanks to other photographers who have taken photos for some of my ancestors and distant deceased relatives. I appreciate the love and care you put into it to honor my family member.
