Concerning military prefixes/ranks:
I am not a fan of including military rank in memorial names. That may be a bit of a surprise given my prior military service; I view individuals as being more than their rank, and prefer to let their name stand alone. Also, while Air Force, Army, and Marine Corps rank abbreviations tend to be consistent, Coast Guard and Navy rank seem infinite :). Finally, I spell out medal, rank and service acronyms in the inscription field, as I believe it is important to know the reference.
