I grew up here south eastern Minnesota, specifically Goodhue County. I have been researching my maternal ancestry for several years with it being located mostly in Minnesota, North Dakota, and western Wisconsin and stretching back into Scandinavia, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, and other trace regions. I take pride in my work of being the first in our large family to find where my Berg surname comes from and the events that led it to be. My mother and I have worked side by side for these several years researching many long nights and share our accomplishments on a single account.

More recently found out of my paternal line and have started my research into that more with the focus being in the southern states of Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia.
