I am a teacher of English in the UK. I grew up being fascinated by American culture and film (from the silent era to the sixties). My mother (God rest her) was, I am sure, John Wayne's biggest British fan. I have her to thank for this lifelong interest.
I find that this website allows me to see what happened to my film heroes and heroines and allows me to see their final resting place without my being intrusive.
I have only visited the US once (New York) and that was with schoolchildren on a cultural visit; we visited the usual spots (including the WTC memorial, which had not yet been completed).
I would have liked to have seen 'The Boss'!
