I have always been interested in genealogy since I was a young child, however it was when I had my own children that I truly appreciated my connection to the past. I was now able to hold in my arms the connection between my ancestors experiences (the past) with my newborn child (the future). I now live in an area which has many historic cemeteries, family plots, old churchyard cemeteries, and many which have been gated and preserved even as major highways have been built around them. As developers continue to build, more and more small family graveyards are exposed to the modern world. I love to trek through my surrounding areas and find those quiet memorials to loved ones - reminders of a time long ago, yet real-life links to a history which actually did exist outside of history books. This is truly a soulful and spiritual experience for me and I am happy to help others with evidence that uncovers and supports their family history.
