Born in Missouri, grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Winter Haven, Florida. Returned to Oklahoma in high school and completed a BFA and Master's at University of Oklahoma. Moved to Minnesota for work in 1988 and have been here ever since. Son of William Bruce Deeming and Mary Lue (Durham) Deeming.
