Being a genealogist, I found that the Find A Grave project rounded out much of my own genealogy research. So I decided to join and help with the project even more.

I feel it is very important to include as much information on these memorials as possible. That information may include obituaries, B/M/D data, etc. as found in local newspapers or databases that I have researched myself. If the memorial is for a notable person from the past, I will try to include some of that person's historical info, if possible. I also try to link memorials to other family members so that new researchers may find the information useful in their research. Having said that, if you have an obituary or other information that you would like to share on a memorial, please feel free to send it to me and I will add it.

I promise to do my best when managing a memorial and treat each memorial as if they were my personal family members. It doesn't really matter who manages a memorial page, the important thing is that someone cared enough to make a memorial page to honor that person. That is what findagrave.com is all about. Honoring the deceased is the number ONE most important job of being a manager of these memorials. Our job is to provide as complete and accurate information as possible for those who we are honoring. I will make every effort to take care of the memorials that I am managing and to do so with respect for those who have passed and their families.
