Bio

I am a professional genealogist and freelance writer with over fifteen years experience, and I specialize in early American society and military history. I was born and raised in Onslow County, North Carolina, just minutes from Yopp's Cemetery in Stump Sound. I have a love and a passion for research of pretty much any scope, so much so that I am constantly seeking topic questions to which I might find answers. I am also a hobbyist metal detector, a person who uses extensive research to determine my targets and then the detector to verify places of historical significance. I am an avid collector of militaria as part of my military history interests, and I also have expertise in coins, ephemera, civil war relics, and general relics. I have a good background in image remastering as well, and also give a good home to old unwanted photos. Anyone who has a specific research interest, or any of the other things I've mentioned can feel free to contact me with any questions they might have.
