To the other members of this site. Before you ADD a CEMETERY or a GRAVE to this web site, how about do some in the field research before you add it, just to make sure.... And if you can't ask for HELP before doing so. There is a big difference between research on a computer or in the library and in the field research...
I don't mind trying to help someone with their family tree. Or hunt the woods like Indiana Jones to fine a lost grave or cemetery. When I have the time, I will.
I've been researching my family tree for almost 30 years with the help of a cousin and a great uncle. And I had helped a few friends with theirs.
I hate to say recently I had a life changing event. lost half of my family tree research and I'm retracing that information.
If you have the surnames Woolard or Alligood in your family tree, you are kin to about 85% of the population of Beaufort County, NC alone lol...
If I see someone make a mistake I will politely suggest a correction, especially when it comes to my kinfolk. If the correction is not made in due time I will point it out abruptly, yet in a kind way...
Since 2017, long enough to fix a simple error of where someone is buried... And still is not fixed.... lol Sorry just a heads up. So right now at this moment there are two burial locations for a Daniel S. Hollis my 2nd Great Grandfather. Use to be buried at BEAUFORT COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE grounds and the information of his move is at the Beaufort County courthouse in Washington, NC.
And if I am wrong with any of my information I post, hell please correct me but please not with hearsay, please have some documentation and or give me time to research it.
