I've loved cemeteries since I "discovered" a tumble-down graveyard hidden by shrubs when I was about 8 year old. In 2009 I was pleased to rediscover it, all cleaned up: Cost Cemetery 1966563, with a group memorial because so many of the headstones were damaged or missing.
It is the resting place of pioneers who settled the area, which has changed from Shawnee territory to farmland to the 1960s suburb where I grew up.

I can try to take photo requests in my area. I only put a five mile range because otherwise the Seattle area is included, and I am across Puget Sound. North Kitsap County, including Bainbridge Island, is in my backyard.

I really appreciate the work of all those who volunteer so much time to Find A Grave.
