Bio

Became interested in genealogy after my father passed away. He, reportedly, had 22 brothers and sisters most of which were step-siblings. Having not met any of his family I started learning how to trace parentage and found this site. It is important for history to maintain lineage for posterity.

I married Gladys Louise (Holder) Reynolds in November 1981 and we have two daughters Jeny Louise (Reynolds) Anderson and Julie Cree (Reynolds) Carlton. We live in Jerico Springs, Cedar County, Missouri, United States.

I joined the U.S. Army in December 1979 and retired in December 2013. Held many specialty skills including Medic (68W), Supply Sergeant (92Y), Parts Specialist (76C), Mechanic (91B), Automated Logistics Specialist (92A), Senior Logistics Sergeant (92Z). Held ranks of PVT, PFC, SP4, SP5, SGT, SSG, SFC, MSG, and 1SG and duties of Team Member, Team Leader, Section Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Senior Enlisted Advisor, and First Sergeant.

Studied Environmental and Safety Management at Pittsburg State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in December 2016. Also have an Associates degree in General Education from Vincennes University.

Have substitute taught in several public schools in Southwest Missouri since 2016. Taught in El Dorado Springs, Greenfield, Lamar, Lockwood, and Sheldon public schools. Most usually in primary grades from pre-school through 6th grades but enjoy high school classrooms where I provide a my knowledge to the classes.

Have travelled to 28 foreign countries and lived longest in Afghanistan (12 months), Germany (9 months), United Kingdom (2 months), Honduras (1 month), South Korea (1 month),
and Australia (1 month).
