Hi!

My name is Lyla Knauff- Carr. My husband, John and myself have been very interested in our ancestors that served in the Civil War. A while back we decided to research our Civil War Ancestors for a scrap book and the first thing that I knew, I was addicted to genealogy.

On the memorials that I manage, I try not only, to fill in as many dates, names & places that I can, but whenever possible, I'll add a personal note that I know myself, or have been given the story by another family member.

I am not a person that photographs every grave that I see. We try to stick to ancestors in our direct lines, but sometimes I get carried away. Not long ago, I found myself researching and doing memorials of all the relatives of my great, great grandmother in a small cemetery in Pennsylvania.

If anyone wants me to transfer a memorial, just ask. If it is not in my direct line, I will be glad to transfer it.

Some of our ancestral lines are: Schwartz, Callahan, Ball, Milligan, Knauff, Ifft, Guenther, Dalrymple, Rositer, Furgison, Simpson, Baughman, Carr, Cousins, Flower, McDowell, Rought, Devine, Poore...

Good luck to you all!
