8 Sep 2020 - I was born in Pennsylvania in 1955 but my parents and other ancestors of recent generations were born in predominantly Wetzel County, West Virginia. I started collecting family tree information when I was a teenager by questioning my mother and paternal grandmother. My main families are Haines, Curry/Currey, Cain, Blake, Garner, Grimm & Danser. I’m a member of Wetzel County Facebook pages and contribute to those and also Tyler & Marshall Counties pages. I assist in updating WVGENWEB for Wetzel County cemeteries. My recent focus has been photographing headstones in Wetzel County & correcting Find A Grave records as needed to have everything match with supporting documents, if needed. I’m a cooperative owner of memorials & go above and beyond to accurately present my memorials for everyone’s use.
