I enjoy family history work. I’ve inherited several photo albums with pictures as far back as 1910. Fortunately several photos indicated who is in the picture and where the picture was taken. I’m working on the Locastro Family from New York City and the Hildebrand Family from Johnstown, PA. It’s amazing on how many extended family members I’m finding. My goal is to have a face to go with each name or in the alternative a gravestone since most have past on and I’ve never met them. I’ve personally visited several cemeteries in Johnstown, PA and on Long Island in New York and have found my ancestors. I find it rewarding to do this work not only for its intrinsic value, but for future generations to come.
