Bio

I live in a rural coastal village near the City of Liverpool. I became interested in this site when I researched my family tree name 'Holland' on my mothers side and learned of an ancestors final resting place. I was intrigued to see a photo frame with no picture leaning against the headstone of my ancestor indicating that someone had visited the grave over the last 50 years at least. I have yet to travel over to Varennes Military Cemetery, hopefully one day, but I would like to thank the thoughtful person who visited and left the frame at Henry Ingram Hollands Grave.
This site is a real gem for people who live far away from their ancestors final resting place so many thanks to the creators of this site.
