After graduating with honors from law school, Rod served his country, on active duty, for four years in the United States Navy.
Rod is an experienced trial lawyer who focused his practice on complex business litigation, particularly in the areas of banking, finance, and real estate.
Rod is a veteran of political campaigns at the highest levels of presidential, congressional, and gubernatorial elections, having provided candidates with election and post-election legal advice. Since 2000, he has counseled clients on campaign finance, election law, lobbying, and public ethics matters in federal, state, and local governmental arenas.
Rod enjoys coaching boys' lacrosse at the elite high school level with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Rod is a past board member of the Community College of Baltimore County and Cecil College.
Rod is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and the States of Maryland and West Virginia.
