I am a genealogist working to preserve my family history. I began visiting cemeteries to check on the state of relative's gravesites, and now try to make sure each headstone in the cemetery is documented, pictures updated, and inscriptions correctly transcribed

I like helping others where I can and am happy to travel reasonable distances (around an hour radius give or take) from Richmond Hill, Georgia or Colquitt, Georgia if you need grave/church/homestead pictures, archived info, or anything geneology related. I'm willing to travel further as well, but cannot give an exact timeframe of when I can fulfill those requests.

I also offer Headstone cleaning services and can do some monument repairs/preservations as I've taken workshops for this skill set. I use D/2 biological cleaner which is safe for stones and is the same cleaner the national cemeteries and parks use on historic monuments and buildings. If I am the manager for your family member's memorial, it is possibly because they were not yet recorded for the cemetery and I documented their gravesite. I am very happy to transfer management over to you if you are a family member or were connected with the deceased in some way.
