Bio

I'm a 7th generation TEXAN! wife, mother and grandmother. My #1 hobby is family history & genealogy! I've been researching, seeking, interviewing, canvassing cemeteries, typing, photographing, dragging kids with me, rain, heat, sticker burrs, you name it I'm game!

Real research began about 30 years ago. There were spurts of intense research for myself and others. I'm one course short of being a Certified Genealogist. Then, due to some changes and a non-curable health challenge, I backed off of most things including family history & genealogy. I'm creeping back in and it feels GREAT!!!

I'm in East TEXAS and primarily research in the southern sates. All of my ancestral lines have been in America since the late 1600's. So, Colonial Record research is looming in my future. Hopefully my health will hold out and upon retirement I'll be able to visit the Colonial Repositories.
