Hello, My love for find-a-grave started when I began to work on my family tree. I found this site and was able to see where my loved ones rested. Then I found the contribute section and went to my first cemetery to pay back/forward for those searching for loved ones and noticed how many were not even listed on the site yet. I feel it's important that nobody ever be forgotten, so while I am able I want to ensure that as many individuals as possible have a memorial to visit. May God bless you and remain forever in all your hearts.

I am happy to transfer the memorial no matter your relation to them. My only rule is that I will not transfer memorials that I am related to. If they are closer related to you, then I will transfer them.

Please use the "Suggest Other Correction" feature to request transfers as it is easier/ quicker for me.

FAQ:

If I don't I will be happy to try to get it for you.
Can you please take a photo of this grave? If it's within reasonable driving distance I would be happy to.
Am I sending you too many suggested edits?
No. You may send as many as you want and I will respond/add the edit in a timely manner.

I am disabled and am not on as much as I used to be, but I will make every attempt to check suggested edits regularly.

Find a Grave has implemented a new way to submit Edits!

Unfortunately, there are far too many members for Find a Grave to notify everyone via email, so it's up to us to get the word out. If every member posts this message (or similar) in their profile, hopefully we can help spread the word.

To suggest a correction (SAC) click on the edit tab of the memorial that needs to be corrected. Then click on the link which best describes where your edit should occur. Enter your correction, when you're done, click submit edit. Your request will be sent to the manager of the memorial and will appear in the managers' profile under the Edits tab.

Managers will no longer receive emails. They must go directly to their profile page and click on the Edits tab. Managers can approve, deny or ignore, suggested corrections. It's quick and easy!

The exception:
Requesting a transfer, adding family links, or other corrections are still handled the same way. Click on "suggest any other correction or addition," type your message and press "send this message." The manager of the memorial will receive an email.
