Bio

Hello person reading this, my name is Courtney Kline and born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. My father, Michael Kline, tragically and without warning died when I was six years old, leaving me and my mother in Georgia with not much contact with his family. The last time any involvement was made with my paternal family was the day after my father's funeral. My half-uncle visited my mother's house (given to her by my father, previously owned by his parents) and took almost every piece of memorabilia from my father's side of the family. The only thing I knew about my grandparents were the fractured stories my mother was told, and even that wasn't much information.

I've never truly understood the dynamic of a big family with my maternal side living a thousand miles away from me my entire life, with only one paternal half-cousin living in Georgia whom I haven't spoken to in almost two decades. Family is very important to me because I've never really had one, even though I'm fully aware that life doesn't come with an instruction manual.

When I grew older and more curious, I started looking into the family I never met. I wanted to know everything and anything there was to find. Since 2018, I have been quite successful in finding the information I was looking for ancestrally, but I still have a long journey to find family members who are still alive - who are willing to make contact. Let's just say I won't ever visit any speed dating events in the entire state of Pennsylvania - I'm probably related to half of the state.

If you, the reader, come across this page with an idea that we could possibly be related, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am open to any possibilities that could come from reconnecting with lost family, but I also don't want to hinder anyone who's feelings may not be mutual. Happy hunting :)
