Find a Grave ID

Bio

I have recently [Feb 2024] completed work with the Lawrenceville Power Cemetery caretakers in Lawrenceville, PA. The cemetery records have been compiled, updated and compared to Find a Grave memorials. Known locations within the cemetery have been added to the memorials. If you are interested in the cemetery please see the description at ID 194083.

I do not consider the memorials under my management to be my personal property, though I will retain my direct family lines. I have several memorials in the Lawrenceville Power Cemetery that were created when compiling the cemetery records into one master file. I'm happy to transfer those not related to me, please ask if you would like a memorial transferred and let me know how you are related.

I link my family members together as I discover them and I make suggested edits whenever I run across anyone that hasn't been linked to their family...it seems proper that they be linked together wherever their final resting place may be. I have made over 8500 approved edits, and I'm never offended by corrections when I have errored.

Although I view Find A Grave as historical information, I also believe these memorials help guard the accuracy of ancestry records. Many genealogy sites rely heavily on the accuracy of these memorials. Remember too that Memorials are not necessarily backed by sources, unless noted by the actual cemetery records or the inscription on the gravestone. In addition, family links may not be absolute and may be changed, currently there is not a way to determine if or when a memorial has had a major change.

Please keep in mind that user submissions from www.findagrave.com that include information not supported by legible gravestone photographs are generally not accepted as proof for dates, places, or relationships for membership in societies such as DAR or Mayflower.

Obits and news items I have posted are accessible to copy but PLEASE at least reference the Find A Grave memorial number where you took the copy. Please be aware that portrait photos come from family members, so yes a source recognition is in order to trace or connect members, its a special courtesy to those who are searching for information in that they may discover extended family.
