Bio

This search started in 1968 when I asked my oldest brother to tell me about who we were, and where did we come from. I was born and now live again in Savannah and thought then all the Tuten's in the world came from right here. Was I wrong.

I started off us the LDS Church PAF program when personal computer came out and I could afford an IBM XT model. I used the LDS Church program PDF. My great great grandmother Cynthia is rin 1, I am rin 77. Today I entered Richard Alexander Thaddeous Mason, he is rin 23909. A lot of Tuten kin between Cynthia and Richard.

Dr. AV Tuten, a cousin and more of a friend who helped every week before his death gave me permission to use his 'blue book' on the Tuten's as a base of where to start. From that work and countless hours with the help of others, I have published two books on the Cynthia family and Simon family of Tuten's. Their title were 'The Tuten Family In the Colonies Not to be confused with Tony Tuten publicizations 'The Tuten Family in North America.' Tony and his crew have done a wonderful job of carrying on the family search. I learn from them every day.

I love hearing from kin interesting in preserving the family name and kinship.

My email is [email protected] and interested in knowing how you and I might be kin.
