A love of genealogy & history is kind of a foregone conclusion when you're from the Deep South with Lee as your maiden name. As the daughter of a "double" Lee (my paternal grandmother was "a Lee who married a Lee"), I get twice the Lees/twice the fun. Both family historians themselves, my grandparents were never able to discover their connection. It was their granddaughter who finally uncovered the link -- Humphrey Lee (1505-1589) whose sons John & Thomas made my grandparents 11th cousins/1x removed. Jokes about Southerners marrying their cousins abound, they just typically don't take 400 years to achieve it.

Current project is the Columbarium at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Dallas, TX.
