Bio

My professional background is as an educator having taught both English and History as a teacher/professor for the past 30 years. I have an in-depth background as a researcher and have done significant genealogical work.

One of my goals as a contributor to Find a Grave is to bring family units together. As a contributor, I have successfully provided more than 18,200 approved edits bringing together parents and children for scores of families. The ultimate purpose of this effort is to provide information to others making family connections and for those doing family research.

I do not believe in racking up numbers of memorials just for the sake of doing so. That becomes a matter of quantity over quality. It is a disservice, in many instances, for complete strangers to do memorials for people they know nothing about, unless they are willing to do the work to research about the person, their family, and pay some kind of adequate respect to their memory. Tell something about their story, if you can. Everyone has a story.

Family Genealogies in which I am knowledgeable and have researched include the following:

Paternal Side:
Andrews
Baker
Beall
Burnham
Cogswell
Conner
Creighton
Ebersole
Emerson
Harris
Hart
Keener
