Bio

Born June 4th 1979 Florence Alabama. Married Angela Weems. The son of Richard S & Donna Grigsby S. Angela is the bio of Bill Lawson AKA Dollar Bill..Local Birmingham Celebrity. Mother Alice (Jeannie) Watkins Florence, Al. We don't have any children and have been together since high school. We graduated 98 from Coffee High. @ the time of this I'm 39 years old. We love our dogs. We've had a 17 year old Shih Tzu just pass away. We have a female shitzu puppy and a male Yorkshire Terrier puppy. We live in Florence Alabama in my father's home on Patton Street. My Father Richard passed away in 2013 and mom in 2002 @ 44. I am the grandson of James Stooksberry/Tommie Jones & Robert Earl Grigsby/Bobbie Sue Wallace Grigsby Woodruff. Very close relationship with my Uncle Kenneth Brewer and my Aunt Jeanne Kay Brewer. John and Judy Baskins from Central near Florence were big influences in raising me. I have a sister Amy S Vernon. My parents also raised a boy named Anthony Wallace living in Galesburg IL. I believe biologically my second cousin. His father was my grandmother Bobby Sue's brother. My sister has children. My parents were the two of the most amazing people in the world. We we were spoiled beyond imagine. We were a small family but we had hundreds of gifts under the tree every Christmas. I had a pony. A dirt bike... my parents rarely said no to anything. I love Mexico and have a special place in my heart for the Mexican people. I have visited chitzen Itza in Mexico. It's a remarkable ruin. The ocean is my favorite place. I'd rather be on the ocean or in a tropical area than anywhere else. I especially love snorkeling. I grew up with RVs and pontoon boats. We were constantly on the rivers or lakes during the summer. We spent lots of time in Waterloo and Wilson Lake. My uncle Kenneth had quite a few Acres and I grew up on a small farm for the most part. We moved to town when I was 10. we always had technology before any of our neighbors or friends. we had dial-up internet before people really knew what it was. Internet was introduced in high school and I actually taught teachers how to use it. I was not a good student but was pretty popular with the girls. I was at school to socialize and that was about it. I've always had bit of a liberal spirit. Extremely dedicated to social issues. Civil rights is something I'm passionate about. I've marched in gay pride parades and marched against those who do not believe in equality in regards to race. I've had struggles and triumphs. For the most part my life has been wonderful whereas both my parents were both pretty poor growing up. I have a sister like relationship with my cousin Molly Brewer. She lives in Ashland City Tennessee. She has a daughter that I love with all my heart. I have a cousin Kenzie Brewer Caddell. I'm very close to her as well. they both grew up living in central near Florence... then moved to Ashland City when my uncle got a job with Ford. they have always been my closest family. we were pregnant once and we were very excited but we lost the baby. We haven't tried since that loss. As I get older I do regret a little bit not having children. I have so much to give and they have so much to inherit and I don't mean financially necessarily. Angela also lost her leg in a car wreck due to MRSA. It would have made pregnancy difficult. Angela is the most amazing person I've ever met. we may have a little spot every day but we always make up. we met in the 6th grade I was in Mrs. Smiths class and she was in Mrs Badgers class. Angela was very closely raised by her half sister Karen Watkins Gifford. She has always been like a mother to my wife... even going as far as buying my wife new cars as a teenager. She was 18 when my wife was born so they have a very mother daughter like relationship. we are not religious people but we believe in the golden rule. as I mentioned before I'm passionate about civil rights. at this time in history our president is Donald Trump. Our first lady is Melania Trump. needless to say my wife and I are not at all happy about this presidency. This period during our lives is the first time we've ever felt uneasy or unhappy about politics and safety in general. For the first time in 39 years my country is completely divided. We are both proud to say we voted for Barack Obama and neither of us voted for our current president Donald Trump. I'm political but not with family and friends. There's no need in making any enemies. Politically I'm mostly on social media or involved in marches or those types of things.
