Bio

I’ve been asking questions and listening to stories about the family since early childhood. Been doing serious genealogy research since about age 14, I am now in my 40s. I was born later in my Father’s life so many of my old folks were either gone or very close to it by the time I began my search. Most of them are now gone. I seem to be the only one of my generation to have any of the family history but I’m always open to sharing and learning more. My direct family names are Cooper, Barnett, Kuykendall, Phillips, Coffee, Horner. Almost all tracing back from Texas to early Tennessee and colonial North Carolina and Virginia (Watauga Settlement).
