I try to photograph unusual names/surnames or stones that may soon deteriorate beyond recognition, headstones of military personnel (I try to link to memorial headstone ID) or headstones of age - if I help you to connect with a lost relative through my cemetery headstones I may contact you on Ancestry to tell you I have photographed it.
