Bio

I stumbled across Findagrave by accident years ago and instantly loved the idea of having a place where you could add a loved one as a lasting memorial to their memory and my Dad was my first memorial.

Over the years I have gotten to know some lovely people and their beloved families. This was a place where we could visit each other's loved ones and at times sadly add others. We could also visit lost souls that touched our hearts and of course the famous and leave a token of our love. It was a place to grieve and a place to find support in our grief but sadly it has all changed.

It is now the place to record a person or persons final resting place or download entire cemeteries, all to aid a researcher with their family tree.

In some cases what was added in the past no longer applies and it's all taken away in the blink of an eye. No thought to the memorial that was made with love and filled with tokens or flowers from others.
There are no more personal tributes or biographies outlining a person's life and death being added just clinical details of where they rest.

I will not forget my friendships made in those early days nor their loved ones.
Nor will I forget those souls that touched my heart over the years, I will continue to visit from time to time.
I will forever keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Take care, be kind to each other and strive to happy.
Much love
