As of 2018 I am a retired 66 year old who over the past 20 years has accumulated significant amounts of information concerning the Arnquist and Rulien lineage, primarily focusing on the Arnquists. I started this genealogy journey in the late 90s and researched heavily for about five years. Much of that work was combing over microfilms of the New Richmond News looking for family names. I later moved the genealogy work to the back burner and focused on writing and researching historical books about the City of New Richmond, Wisconsin. Recently my interest in my genealogy rose again to the surface. I thought it was time that perhaps I start to share my work with others who may be interested.

I am married to my wife Marilyn (42 years) and have three sons and four grandchildren. We left my hometown of New Richmond four years ago and moved to Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
