I have been following my family since the 1980s and have recently been adding some of this information to Find A Grave to provide a legacy of who my ancestors were connected to. I have started with my own family lines and branch out to connected families if time and information permits. My key family connections are all included in the profiles I have created or now manage.
So many records are around that are not connected to their family. My mission is to change that and give their memorial meaning rather than just some date and generic information uploaded on mass via a spreadsheet.
If I do spot something I can contribute to, I will do so and trust the manager of the memorial will review and accept if they agree it is as factual as possible. As researchers we continuously make things understandable and therefore useful.
