I was born in 1951 in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. I live in Whitby, Ontario, just east of Toronto. My Father David Campbell Bremner (1927-1998) along with his Mother and Father and three siblings came to Canada in 1930 from Scotland and settled in Whitby. My Mom Helen Marie 'Pat' McCoy was born in Havelock, Ontario and she and her family moved to Whitby when she was in her late teens. My parents wed in 1947.
Before Christmas of 2018, I came across a picture of my great grandfather Peter Bremner (1869-1953) who lived in Wick, Scotland. and decided then to start a family tree and begin researching my ancestors so I could pass it on to my brothers and their children.
