Hi, I started with my own family tree asking for help. I was in a car accident and bed bound for 9 months no walking broken leg and many other injuries so this was a way to keep me busy everyday. After a few weeks find a grave asked me if I would like to volunteer for them. When I could start walking again I started going to cemeteries to take pictures and what a great way to walk again there was so many people I visited in cemeteries, gave me a sense of purpose. I like to get the transcript of the cemetery I am interested in, then go to the cemetery and take pictures of all the monuments there. Then on returning home I go on the website and I try my hardest to fill in every option on the memorial in hopes that who manages that memorial will accept my requests. I think if you are doing the job you should do the whole job not just half to get the credit. I will continue doing this job till I can't no more. I love the time in the cemetery just looking and reading what is on the monument. I like to connect the dots for the families and I like to help anyone who requests my help. I will try to do my best for the rest of the days.
