I have been doing family research with my grandmother teaching me since I was a child of about 9 or 10. Of course back then you had to write letters to so many places but she taught me how to do that. I never stopped as I have always been interested in family history. I have found living relatives in Poland, helped my husband learn about his father's side of the family starting out with only his grandfather's name. It has been a great joy to do this and everything is going into books of each branch of the family to leave to my children and grandchildren. It has turned into a huge project but I hope to continue until I am no longer able to.
