My interest in collecting American Civil War, World War I A.E.F.*, and WWII first edition post-war books has taken me to visit the graves of the veterans. Many of my books are ones that were owned and/or signed by the veteran. I will take their book to their grave to reconnect them, take a picture of the book with their headstone, and thank them for their service.
