Bio

I started researching my family tree when I retired. Then I branched out into people whose stories caught my interest. I found Find A Grave to be a priceless resource—it has helped me out many times through the years. I was inspired to sign up when I discovered some photos my uncle had left me of an old cemetery where some of our Fisher kin were buried. Some of the graves had memorials but no photos, and I knew I needed to upload those pictures so his efforts would not be lost.

Now that I have several detailed family trees, I make an effort to update the memorials of people I have researched. Sometimes I add bios to preserve the memories of the people and their lives. For me, it's not how many memorials I've created or manage; it's all about the stories. Not everyone became famous, founded a city, lived a long time, or left many descendants…but everyone has a story, and their story deserves to be told.

I appreciate people sending corrections, bio information, etc. I am happy to transfer to relatives closer than myself. You are welcome to message me with suggestions, questions, etc.
