I have been doing family history research since 1989, long before documents were available online. It was a hobby that I started doing with my Dad, and we would spend long hours at the public library scrolling through census records on microfilm, gleaning details from old news clippings, and visiting family plots in cemeteries around Ontario.

Over 30 years later, I now assist others with their genealogical searches. In particular, I volunteer to assist fellow British Home Child descendants with piecing together their family's past. I also research home children who died young, and have no descendants to remember them.

If I submit a correction for a memorial, please be assured that I have been thorough with research, often consulting multiple sources on Ancestry, FamilySearch and online newspaper archives.
