Most of my contributions here are on behalf of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. The organization is documenting the final resting place of Civil War Veterans / War of 1812 Veterans who are interred in Michigan cemeteries. We also include Cenotaphs in Michigan cemetaries that were commonly put in place to remember the fallen who are buried in cemeteries in other states, or whose resting place is simply not known.
